owner had it since i was born in 1973. when i was around 12 i rode by his house on my bike and dreamed of having that car. when i turned 15 in 1989, i knocked on his door, he said it wasnt for sale, the next year in 1990, i saw him trading it in for a new 1990 ford thunderbird. my dad and i swooped into the dealership (my dad knew the salesman), and asked what he would take on a trade for my truck. he said “dang i just got it, and havent even had time t check it out, but i was persistent and he finally cave and said $400 cash and my 69 truck. so timing is everything! if i hadn’t been in town with my dad at that moment, we would have never seen the car being traded in and someone else likely would have got it!!!!!
